Oh Man Look At That Dylan

Continuing my march towards finalization, I've made this design. Some things to note is that this one is quite a bit slimmer than the previous ones. I have been having trouble drawing the more recent design because it was kinda bulky when it comes to the lower half, so in an attempt to mix things up I have opted for a slimmer design. I think it looks a lot more complete than any other design I've made short of the last one, but that one wasn't perfect either.

Many of the changes however was from the realization that, since I'm no longer confining myself to a strictly armadillo-like design, he no longer needs to be fat and bulky. Suddenly a wealth of possibilities are open, most of which are a whole lot easier to draw for me apparently.

Okay confession time. I actually just winged it. No sketching. Bad idea, but this is the first time I've felt like I knew what I was doing drawing Dylan in a long time. This is the "lets try something completely different" approach, in which I use a few parts of what I've learned from previous drawings but without direct references in front of me. I feel like this will be a very close-to-final design, though I won't make any promises.
