Someone mentioned that it felt like I didn't have a very good grasp on the inner skeletal structure of the drawing, and he'd be right, so I did got out some references of Armadillo skeletons and came up with this.
This really does help a lot actually, especially with the legs and arms. Before this. the legs were pretty nebulous to me, so having this skeleton should help me figure out where it should go in a 3D space.
I've found drawing the skeletal structure really helps proportion characters better (Espeically humans). My favorite drawings I've done started with a complete skeleton first. It looks very well done accentuating where there is a lack of bone. Cool jazz.
Drylan bones. Man I don't even think some of my main characters HAVE bones... Well, at least we know he's not big-boned! I do not even know what to actually say.
