Day 5 - Someone Else's Character

It's been a good long while since I've made a full on drawn and colored piece, and I figured I might as well take out three birds with one stone. With this piece I was able to do three things at once.

#1: Put effort into something to have a full drawn/colored piece.
#2: Draw for the 7 Day Doodle theme.
#3: Finally make a request that I've forgotten about for months.

Some of you might recognize parts of the design from a previous drawing of mine.

Well this is basically that character as a Jellicent, cus the guy I made it for wanted to freshen things up with something weird I guess. =p

He'd be a fun Paper Mario partner. Or even better: A Paper Mario boss. The style's all there and he's got the awesome smugness to strut.

That'd be a fun game worth playing. :P

Very interesting design, though I can't help but wonder: if he's an aquatic creature, how would he keep those cigars lit when he's underwater?
